Working for Different Companies in Time Doctor

Time Doctor lets users track time for multiple companies. If you are employed by multiple companies, if you have created your own company account (by registering directly at, or if you have accepted an invitation from another company, you will need to know how to make sure you are tracking time for the correct company.

First, be sure you choose the correct company in the Time Doctor desktop app. To the right of your name, you can find the name of the company that is currently selected.

If you are only signed up with one company, you will not see a company name. Instead, you will only see Sign Out. But, if you do have more than one company associated with your email address, then you will see a company name on which you can click on to open a dropdown menu which will allow you to choose the company you want to log time under.

It is also important to choose the right company when you log in to Time Doctor. Look at the upper left-hand corner for the name of the company for which you are currently tracking time. If your email address is associated with more than one Time Doctor company, then the company name will be clickable.
