Unable to Install Time Doctor in OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion
One of the new features of OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion is the Gatekeeper which gives the user more control when installing new applications.
Most applications, especially those downloaded from third-party sources will receive a popup warning message unless they have been downloaded from the App Store.
The popup message looks like this:
To fix this problem, perform the following steps:
1. First, click on the Apple icon and go to System Preferences.
2. Then, click on Security & Privacy.
3. Under the General tab, click on the lock icon and enter your password to unlock.
4. Under Allow applications downloaded from, select Anywhere.
That is it. You may now run the Time Doctor installer.
